Notice of Purpose of Collection of Personal Information from Site Visitors RFx Legal automatically collects and/or tracks (1) the home server domain names, e-mail addresses, type of client computer, and type of Web browser of visitors to RFx Legal's Website and users of RFx Legal software, (2) the e-mail addresses of visitors that communicate with RFx Legal via e-mail, [post messages to RFx Legal's bulletin boards, or post messages to RFx Legal's chat groups], (3) information knowingly provided by the visitor in online forms, registration forms, surveys, and contest entries, and (4) user-specific information on what pages visitors access. RFx Legal also collects information you voluntarily agree to provide us through the form provided on the Website and through the RFx Legal software. Information collected includes limited personal and company data: your name, title, company name, address, telephone number, facsimile number and e-mail address. RFx Legal does not place Internet cookies on visitors' hard drives except as necessary to automatically maintain web site session data. Internet cookies are stored on the visitor's hard drive and are not stored, in any form, by RFx Legal. Onward Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties RFx Legal WILL NOT disclose the personal data collected through the website or through the RFx Legal software to third parties with the exception of the disclosure that is required to perform RFx Legal Event services. This allowed disclosure includes the submittal of data to Event sponsors about the participating bidders and their bids. By taking part in RFx Legal Events, bidders understand that their information will be supplied to buyers and/or Event sponsors.
4. Access to and Ability to Correct Personal Data Upon request via postal mail, e-mail, or phone to the contact person below, RFx Legal will provide to visitors a summary of any personal information retained by RFx Legal regarding the visitor. Visitors may modify, correct, change, or update their personal record or cause their personal record to be removed from RFx Legal's database. 5. Security RFx Legal takes all reasonable procedures to protect personal and identifiable information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is kept strictly confidential in our offices and is stored on our servers in a secure, encrypted manner. Our employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Finally, the servers that are used to store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment, with appropriate security measures. We cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted outside our control, i.e. personal information accessible on or transmitted via the Internet. 8. Collection of Personal Data from Children RFx Legal's website and Event services are not intended for or marketed to persons under the age of 18. RFx Legal does not collect or post information from children under the age of 13 ("children"). In the event that RFx Legal did collect or post information from children, it would not do so without their parent's or guardian's consent. RFx Legal does not and will not provide any personally identifying information collected from children, regardless of its source, to any third party for any purpose whatsoever. In the event a child submits information to RFx Legal's website, the child's parent or guardian will receive an e-mail alerting them to the child's registration and providing instructions on how the parent could delete the child's registration, if so desired. Children are not allowed to participate in contests. No information collected from children is used for any marketing or promotional purposes whatsoever, either inside or outside RFx Legal. RFx Legal encourages parents and guardians to spend time online with their children.
